This isn’t always a sign of a reputable breeder but it is a good starting point. Sometimes people don’t like associations because the association believes something contrary to the beliefs of the breeder, like boxers and ears. This is something that you will need to research and find out for yourself.
Just because they are an association, doesn’t mean that they are right. Especially when it comes to the Havanese Breed.
