How Do I find a Reputable Breeder in my Area?
Purchasing a puppy is a major decision, and sometimes people find the process stressfull. The bad breeders are out there, and people have good reason to worry about where they are getting their puppies from.
Reputable breeds are always a part of other organizations, be it social groups, kennel clubs or national associations. There will be local associations and local breeder clubs as well. This isn’t the only sign, and even these types can game the system. You will also need to speak with former customers and read reviews of the breeder you are looking to work with.
Just because they are an association, doesn’t mean that they are right.
